ok, so the division for blind services here in the "great state" of Texas has been dragging me around in circles for almost 3 weeks this semester regarding my book voucher. Granted, it is awesome that they are supplying me with my books and supplies and i am truly appreciative. however, at present, i'm in the college of honors and i'm being swamped ddaily with work that i can't do and why can't i do my work? because the flippin' book voucher hasn't been faxed to the book store. I mean ok: i could see the hesitation being relevant if they had to part with their own money or if they had to sell a vital organ to get my things to me but no, they just have to send a little fax! anyway, long story short, i've just got one question: Where's the fax!?
that' surely does suck, but I never had much of a problem getting book vouchers or reader money from TCb, of course that was 10 years ago. grin
what part of Texas are you in?
Well, I'm from Massachusetts and all my councilor has to do is make 2 coppies of the reward letter; one for me and one to be sent to the bookstore. When I bring my coppy in, they automatically run it through the computer and that's that. Even though they might not have received their coppy, I give them mine and they're perfectly happy with it. Maybe you should suggest this to your councilor and see what she says.

i'm in Nacogdoches and yeah, that sounds like a good idea Sexy Girl but my councellor is pretty stubborn about doing things her way.
I have an idea, why don't you try to find another group? Once you start looking, your counceler will problably help you very fast.
